The new executive committee has been appointed for the Victoria University Chapter of Golden Key. At a meeting on November 26 at the Victoria University Flinders campus, Gerard Sofra was elected Vice-President, Meng Yun Lee as Treasurer, Jessica Bradley as Social and and Intellectual Engagement Officer, Lorenz Wilson as Secretary, Nancy Huynh as Academic Officer, Caroline Tang as Community Service Officer and Samuel Pearson as Communications Officer. Members of the Executive Committee, are primarily responsible for organising and coordinating all chapter activities in and around campus. General members of Golden Key help out when they can. All newly elected members, looked forward to embracing their roles in the coming months and organising activities for the 2013 academic year. Out going President, Samuel Pearson, said that it was good to see some new faces on the committee and is positive about the year ahead. "We've had a bit of difficulty in the past with students committing to an executive position, and so it's really great to see some new faces. I'm looking forward to working with all of them to improve this chapter, so that we can be more active on campus and grow in our own personal and professional development". There is still room for additional interested Golden Key members. Having an executive committee position, not only enriches your student experience, but looks great on your resume, helping to distinguish you from the rest.
