TREASURER A highly reliable and organised person with an interest in financial reporting and book-keeping, an eye for detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
SECRETARY A reliable and organised person who is interested in improving their administrative, organisational and professional communication skills.
ACADEMIC OFFICER Someone in their final years of studies who is comfortable dealing with academics and university staff (incl. senior executives), and wants to improve networking, communication and organisational skills.
INTELLECTUAL ENGAGEMENT OFFICER A creative person with an interest in politics and other intellectual topics who can encourage others to think outside the box, and an interest in improving their networking and organisational skills.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER A postgraduate student or someone in their final years of studies with an interest in careers development and feels comfortable liaising with corporates, and wants to improve their networking, communication and organisational skills.
COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER An outgoing and creative person with an interest in social work and volunteering, who can organise events to contribute to the wider community and motivate others to help. This role will develop communication, project management, and networking skills.
SOCIAL OFFICER A creative and outgoing person who is interested in organising networking and social events.
ALUMNI LIAISON Someone in postgraduate or final years of studies who feels comfortable dealing with alumni members and wants to improve their networking, communication and organisational skills.
HONORARY MEMBER LIAISON Someone in their final years of studies who feels comfortable dealing with distinguished community members and university staff (incl. senior executives), and wants to improve their networking and communication skills.
NEWSLETTER EDITOR A creative individual with an eye for detail and grammar, who has an interest in written communication and publishing, and who wishes to improve their communication and editing skills.
PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER A creative person with initiative and an interest in communication and marketing who wants to improve professional skills in these areas.
WEBMASTER A person with an interest in social media and virtual networking who wishes to improve their overall communication skills.
GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBER New inductees who are keen to get involved and wish to get introduced the responsibilities of leadership roles
